There is this large mosaic alligator sculpture in Balboa Park , and I think I spent about an hour capturing reflections and light in all the marbles and glass. Certainly not a flattering self-portrait, but Mike and I were still trying to digest some crazy news and it definetly captured the way I felt at the time. In contrast, I loved the repetition of the beautiful sky and surroundings that were in all the marbles. Not sure what I'll do with the insane number of "marble landscape" pics I took...
